Gallery Reception w/ Slant’d

Kato Sake Works is teaming up with Slant’d for a month-long show in Bushwick featuring 11 NY-based Asian American artists who have been published in Slant’d magazines. Come drink some sake and celebrate these talented artists: Yayun Chang, Rachel Chou, Kevin VQ Dam, Caitlyn Gaurano, Johnathan Huang, Nikhil Jain, Jason Lam, Vanessa Nguyễn, Liliana Rasmussen, Mark Wang, and Rose Wong.

The Slant’d Art Show runs from May 2- June 1 with an Opening Reception May 2, 6-9pm and a Meet the Artists Art Fair on May 25, 2-6pm. We hope to see you there!

Slant’d (@slantdcreative) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit reimagining publishing to be more accessible, equitable, and joyful for AAPIs everywhere 💛. They are a creative home for AAPI voices🏡, offering litmag and book publishing opportunities, as well as creative care programs and storytelling events. A fully volunteer-run team, they commit every cent donated towards fueling the publication of diverse voices, ensuring their sustainability, and growing their creative care programs.
